TARACORP is a commercial real estate investment, development and brokerage firm specializing in land and residential development.
TARACORP was founded in 1995 to pursue the brokerage, sponsorship and development of residential land development projects in and around the Houston area. As an underwriter and sponsor of single-family residential development investments, TARACORP has been involved in the development of numerous single-family residential communities encompassing over 1,200 single-family lots. Additionally, TARACORP has brokered over 3,300 residential lots and over 23,800 acres of land to residential builders, developers and investors.
TARACORP was named the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) "Developer of the Year" for 2005. In addition, the president of TARACORP is the Chairman of the Developers Council of GHBA and is a member of its Board of Directors.
TARACORP's president was also the immediate past president of the Houston Real Estate Council, an industry advocacy organization created to address public policies and regulatory issues affecting the real estate investment and development community. TARACORP's president was also past president of the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter of CCIM.
TARACORP maintains active memberships in the Houston Real Estate Council, the Greater Houston Builders Association, The Texas and Houston Association of Realtors, Urban Land Institute, Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) Institute, and the Houston Realty Breakfast Club.
